AVID

AVID - Advancement Via Individual Determination

AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

Students in the AVID program at Bogle are enrolled in the AVID elective class in addition to being enrolled in Honors Math and Honors Language Arts.

What do we look for in candidates for AVID?

  •    Students earning A's, B's and C's in their core academic classes/subjects
  •    Students who are willing and driven to take honors coursework
  •    Students who have the potential / capability to work above grade level
  •    Students who MAY be the first in their families to pursue higher education
